Pop Up volunteer event with Care Beyond the Boulevard at Hope City.
Meet at 5101 E 24th Street at 6 PM. Let someone know you are a medical student from KU there to volunteer.
We will triage patients as they come into the shelter and stay until they turn the lights out around 8 PM. Students will help to take vitals and patient histories.
Wear weather-appropriate street clothes (scrubs are fine) and closed-toed shoes. Please bring a stethoscope.
