Who We Are
The KUMC Street Medicine Student Interest Group is a student group dedicated to learning about homelessness, specifically in Kansas City, and educating students on what medical care looks like for those experiencing homelessness. We help students connect and volunteer with Care Beyond the Boulevard, a Street Medicine Clinic dedicated to breaking down barriers to accessing healthcare for individuals experiencing homelessness in Kansas City.
What We Do
Our mission is to provide high-quality medical and mental health care and support to the homeless and under-served populations of Kansas City outside the bounds of traditional health care settings, becoming a force for health care equity and social change.
