On behalf of Special Olympics Kansas:
Special Olympics Kansas is seeking volunteers certified in First Aid and CPR to work the first aid tents at our sporting events in the KC Metro Area. We have a track and field event coming up on April 20th at Shawnee Mission South High School and are in great need of qualified volunteers.
Volunteers can expect to treat bumps, scrapes, and bruises but mostly our athletes are seeking connection and friendly conversation.
two time slots, 8:30-12:30 and 12:00-4:00 and are hoping to get two volunteers for each slot.
We are also happy to be flexible and have volunteers come for a window different than those listed above based on their availability.
