Join GSIG at Via Christi St. Francis Skills Lab to hone your surgical procedure skills!
In the spirit of good will to all, please do not sign up immediately if you participated last semester so that others have a chance to experience the procedure night. Sign ups are limited to 8 participants due to capacity of the room and stations.
We'll take you through:
Chest tubes
Intubation
Basics of laproscopic tools (camera and tool manipulation)
Colonoscopy
Plus, chat with some general surgery residents, attendings, and 4th years who applied general surgery and are just super excited about the specialty!
(this is not a volunteer event and I will not be awarding an hour of volunteerism for attendance but I couldn't figure out how to have the event creation give us a waitlist).
