This is an opportunity to volunteer with Wichita Northwest High School to tutor and mentor high school students from underserved communities. While there may be some tutoring of basic high school subjects, the real task is to provide encouragement and support to students!

Please arrive as close to scheduled time as possible, but if you are a little late that is okay. When you arrive to the school, please proceed to the front office (South lot, the entrance off of Tyler Rd). Let them know that you are to volunteer for after school tutoring with KU Jay Launch, you may ask for Crystal Kerr or other after school tutoring staff if needed.
Tutoring will be held in the school auditorium, you will see students and tutors separated by subject.

Note that slots are for 3 hours, 3:30-6:30, but the school has just asked tutors to stay as long as they are able to! If you have to head out earlier than 6:30, just keep Crystal Kerr or other tutoring staff in the loop!
