MISSION:
• volunteers are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
NEEDS:
• Long-term volunteers: CASA Volunteers advocate for the best interests of children who are in the Jackson County Family Court system until they have a safe and permanent home. A CASA Volunteer provides the judge with carefully researched information about the child to help the court make a sound decision about that child’s future.
TIME COMMITMENT:
• 18-24 months
