MISSION:
• a locally-grown nonprofit working to grow food, farms, and community in support of an equitable, sustainable, and healthy local food system for all.
NEEDS:
• MVP Volunteer Program: Cultivate KC’s Mobile Volunteer Program rotates weekly between farms and community gardens in the Midtown KC area.
• Volunteer for Public Education and Fundraising Events (event volunteers receive free admission to ticketed events before/after their shift). Events include Earth Day, Farmers & Friends Annual Meeting, Urban Grown Farms & Gardens Tour, and Midtown Hoedown.
TIME COMMITMENT:
• Regular, consistent volunteers needed
• One-time, event only volunteers
