Location: Lied Auditorium in Wahl East, HEB, Clendening Library in the Robinson Building
Lunch (25 minutes): High school students will use this time to eat lunch.
Informal Tour Summary (25 minutes): Volunteers conduct a short informal tour of the facilities on the KUMC campus. This is for freshman to sophomore year high school students from Lawrence to be able to see the campus. During the tour medical students who will be guiding the tour can share a little bit about what graduate school is like and their process of getting into medical school at KUMC. Students can also ask questions about the facilities, class schedules, and medical school experience.
Clendening Library Summary (25 minutes): Volunteers will lead students to the Clendening Library. Each group will observe and learn about medical artifacts as part of the history of medicine.
