We are looking to have between 2 to 4 medical students conduct a short informal tour of the facilities on the KUMC campus. This is for freshman to junior year high school students from Topeka to be able to see the campus. We would have students meet in Clendening Auditorium (on the second floor of Robinson through the grey door across from the elevator/next to the stairs) then split into two groups of about 15 students each with 1-2 medical students per group. During the tour medical students who will be guiding the tour can share a little bit about what graduate school is like and their process of getting into medical school at KUMC. Students can also ask questions about the facilities, class schedules, and medical school experience. After the tour both groups will meet on the first floor sitting area in Murphy so students may get back on the bus to head back to Topeka.
