Hello!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Back to School USD 500 Fair this August. KU has had a history of helping conduct sport physicals at these events for several years, and we are happy to have you join us!
Please make sure that you are signing up under your correct School/Profession so that we can keep track of our volunteers adequately.
For M2s, M3s and M4s, you will greatly help oversee our following needs:

Work together in pairs with an M1 to review the sports physical history form provided by students/parents

Perform a complete sports physical physical exam

Document findings on the form

Make a brief (2-3 min) oral presentation to a resident or faculty provider who will briefly see the patient and sign off on the form.
Additional Details:
Volunteers are expected to arrive earlier at 7:00am for a quick orientation. Snacks and food will be provided for volunteers. Please wear close-toed shoes, scrubs, and bring a stethoscope. Lunch will be provided.
This experience will be very similar to JayDoc and Bulldoc. If this is something you're interested in helping with, please consider joining us!
