M2, M3, M4 Students - Sports Physicals

Hello! Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 24th Annual Back to School USD 500 Fair on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at F. L. Schlagle High School, happening from 8:00am - 1:00pm. KU has had a history of helping conduct sports physicals at these events for several years, and we are happy to have you join us!
For M2s, M3s, and M4s, you will greatly help oversee our following needs:
- Work together in pairs with an M1 to review the sports physical history form provided by students/parents
- Perform a complete sports physical physical exam
- Document findings on the form
- Make a brief (2-3 min) oral presentation to a resident/faculty provider who will see the patient and sign off on the form
Volunteers are expected to arrive earlier at 7:00am for a quick orientation. Snacks and food will be provided for volunteers. Please wear close-toed shoes, scrubs, and bring a stethoscope. Lunch will be provided.
This experience will be very similar to JayDoc and Bulldoc. If this is something you're interested in helping with, please consider joining us!
