Hello friends!
Thank you for your interest in working alongside the Wyandotte County Back To School Committee. This is a group of individuals that gathered 23 years ago to tackle some of the needs of our Wyandotte County Community. They are the ones coordinating the Back To School Fair held on August 6th. The fair is open to all Wyandotte County residents at no cost to them to receive supplies and services.
For this volunteer opportunity, volunteers will meet 1 PM Thursday, August 4th, at F.L Schlagle High School to help with preparing bags for the parents that will participate in the Fair August 6th. These bags will include:
- COVID-19 Test kits
- Hygiene Kits
- Information about services they may need
If you are not able to stay the entire time (1-4 pm) please make note of it when signing up and tell us how long you are willing to stay.
