Who We Are
GSIG Wichita as a group of students interested in general surgery currently led by an executive board consisting of Brooke Wietharn, Jacob Fischer, Kale Mills, Josh Schafer, Sharon Isaacs-Pullins, Brittany White-Dold, and Michala Sliefert.
What We Do
The General Surgery Interest Group (GSIG)-Wichita is a student-run organization that strives to help medical students connect with attending and resident surgeons, find opportunities for exposure to the field of surgery, and feel comfortable with many of the technical skills required in the OR.
